Bruce graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religion. This is actually the second time he has served on staff at Enid First Nazarene; he was the associate pastor here from 1990-1992. He then pastored churches in Austin, Texas, and Bethany, Oklahoma before returning to Enid in 2004 to serve as the senior pastor.
Pastor Bruce is an energetic guy who lives life to its fullest and longs for everyone to enjoy the journey together. His love for Christ and his call to ministry drive him to constantly reach out to include others. His desire, above all else, is to glorify God and see people develop an intimate relationship with the Father. He enjoys snow skiing, fishing in Colorado and playing golf.
Pastor Bruce and Sandy have been happily married since 1980. They have two children, Tyler and wife, Camerann, and Samantha and husband, Philip. They also have 5 grandchildren Andee, Ainsley, Max, Ryder, and Noah who is in Heaven. The Johnson's pastor as a team at Enid First Church of the Nazarene.
